Luke Bailey
Luke Bailey is a student at nearing the completion of his studies to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Digital Media Management, from Newburgh, Indiana, USA. In the next months he will be handling our social media platforms, directing promotional video content, and aiding in the preparation of our 8th International Conference on Sustainability and Responsibility this year.

Patrick Bungard
Patrick Bungard is a director of the Center for Advanced Sustainable Management (CASM) at the . He is also a lecturer for Business Ethics, Sustainable Business Models, Sustainable Management, Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Entrepreneurship. Additionally, he has considerable professional experience in the management consulting field, particularly in the areas of Corporate Social Responsibility and the nonprofit sector. Patrick Bungard is the CEO and founder of M3TRIX GmbH, a consulting firm, which focuses on supporting companies on their professional sustainable management journey.

Helen Cramer
Helen Cramer is a Master’s student of International Business – Marketing Management at who is an active member of the CSR Student Team at CBS. Before attending CBS, she completed her Bachelor’s in Political Science and Economics at the University of Muenster. She has experience in the political and public policy sector, as well as event planning and research. Currently, she supports the CASM Team with the organization of the 8th International Conference on Sustainability and Responsibility – where she is responsible for participant management and online communication.

Silvia Damme
Silvia Damme is a project manager for the 8th International Conference on Sustainability and Responsibility at the Center for Advanced Sustainable Management (CASM) at . She completed her Master’s in “International Business and Sustainability” at the University of Hamburg and holds a Bachelor’s degree in “Culture & Business Studies” from Mannheim University. She has previously been involved in organizing a dialogue platform connecting German businesses in their climate efforts at Ernst&Young for the German Ministry of Environmental Affairs and most recently worked for the Massachusetts Climate Action Network (MCAN) as a conference coordinator for the Local Environmental Action Conference 2018 in Boston, MA. Additionally, she has experience in CSR strategy and management, climate entrepreneurship as well as the nonprofit sector.

Monika Kolb
Monika Kolb is a conference coordinator and researcher at the Center for Advanced Sustainable Management (CASM) at . She is also a Ph.D. candidate at the IEDC School of Management in Bled, Slovenia. Her research focus includes responsible leadership development, embodied cognition, and innovative teaching methods. Since 2014, she has organized various projects that seek to empower tomorrow’s game changers. She is actively involved in academic networks like PRME and CEEMAN to promote responsible management. Additionally, she has several years of professional experience in the consumer goods industry and is a certified trainer and coach. Monika designs and conducts leadership development seminars together with M3trix GmbH where she is Director Empowerment.

Viola Nyssen
Viola Nyssen has worked for the Center for Advanced Sustainable Management (CASM) as a research assistant since September 2017. Besides supporting the organization of the CSR Conference, she is responsible for organizing company presentations and events at the and at the chamber of commerce in Cologne. She is also the head of CSR Student Team at CBS. She received the Ethics and Sustainability Award in 2017 for her work in that role. She completed her Bachelor’s in General Management – Supply Chain Management, and is currently completing her Master’s in International Business – Financial Management at CBS.

Lena Orbach
Lena Orbach holds dual citizenship with the U.S. and Germany; she grew up in Southern California with an American father and a German mother, spending summers in Germany. She attended UC Santa Barbara, where she received a double bachelor’s degree in communications and German language, graduating with honors. She has worked on both sides of the Atlantic in various fields such as public relations, marketing, and international project management. Currently, she is pursuing a master’s degree in intercultural management at the in Germany, as well as providing support as a research assistant at the Center for Advanced Sustainable Management.
René Schmidpeter
René Schmidpeter holds the Dr. Juergen Meyer Endowed Chair of International Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility at and is conference chair of the 8th International Conference on Sustainability and Responsibility in Cologne (ICSR). He is director of the Center for Advanced Sustainable Management (CASM) at CBS, General Secretary of the World Institute of Sustainability and Ethics (WISE) in Bled and Vice-President of the Global Corporate Governance Institute (GCGI). He is a series editor for Springer’s CSR, Sustainability, Ethics and Governance books, a section editor of the Encyclopedia of Corporate Social Responsibility (ECSR) and an editor of the Dictionary of Corporate Social Responsibility (DCSR) as well as Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of CSR (IJCSR). His research and teaching activities focus on the management of Corporate Social Responsibility, international perspectives on CSR, Social Innovation and Sustainable Entrepreneurship as well as the relationship between business and society. He has published widely, holds several honorary and guest professorships in three continents, is advisor to national and international sustainability initiatives, an international keynote speaker as well as founding manager of M3TRIX in Cologne – an innovative sustainable transformation company.

Marina Schmitz
Marina Schmitz is a project manager, research associate and lecturer at the Center for Advanced Sustainable Management at . Additionally, she is the Scientific Director of M3trix GmbH, a consulting firm with a focus on sustainability. She studied Business Administration and Sinology at Trier University and is currently pursuing her PhD in Human Resources Management and Asian Business at the University of Goettingen in Germany. She spent a year abroad at Wuhan University during her undergraduate studies and six months as a Ph.D. exchange student at Nanjing University in China. Her PhD thesis is concerned with the voluntary labor turnover of blue collar workers in China.

Anna Tönneßen
Anna Tönneßen is a master’s student in International Business – Strategic Management and Consulting at the . As a member of the CSR student team she supports the team in the organization of the conference. She holds a bachelor’s in European Studies of Maastricht University and has professional experience in the area of strategic stakeholder management and impact measurement. Currently she works as a Junior Consultant at M3trix GmbH.

An expert in the field of digitalization, digital strategy and digital business models, he develops communication and education infrastructures, in addition to media strategies for the Center for Advanced Sustainable Management.
Due to his previous experience at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and his expertise in marketing, informatics, psychology and adult education, he is especially interested in the academic areas of innovation, megatrends, and leadership of SMEs and startups. For his research he uses innovative methods to evaluate existing and rising megatrends that have practical implications for individuals, companies and society.
In recent years he developed a concept called “Cooperative Innovation” (www.cooperative-innovation.com) which is applicable to the Social Market Economy. Besides, Franz is an entrepreneur at heart, a scientific director of an innovation think-tank and startup investor as well as self-employed in the areas of education, media and digitization. He is also a lecturer, managing director of an international e-commerce company and a managing director of a research institute.
